It is vital to note that individual insurance agencies do not have the authority or the technical access to alter, delete, or remove data within the LexisNexis database. When a claim is filed on a policy where you are a named insured, that data is reported automatically according to corporate and state regulatory requirements. Because we are following mandatory corporate policy regarding the September claim, our office cannot manually remove a name from a processed filing. If you believe the information on your report is inaccurate, the most direct path to a correction is to file a dispute directly with LexisNexis. They have a specific legal process for consumers to challenge and correct their own data files. We understand this is a frustrating situation, but we must adhere to the compliance standards set by our corporate office. We wish you the best."
